An Australian comedian pretending to be North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said Monday that Vietnamese authorities were expelling him. Kim Jong-un himself will arrive in Vietnam in about 24 hours for a summit with US President Trump.
The man who looks like Kim Jong-un calls himself Howard X. He appeared in Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, on Friday, accompanied by his partner who pretended to be Trump. The two attracted the attention of the media and a large number of people.
Trump and Kim Jong-un will hold their second summit on the DPRK nuclear issue in Hanoi on Wednesday and Thursday.
"North Koreans have no sense of humour," the comedian told reporters as he headed for Hanoi Airport to prepare for departure.

"Irony is a powerful weapon against any dictatorship."

When Trump and Kim Jong-un held their first summit in Singapore in June last year, the actor also went to Singapore and gave a satirical performance. He claims to have been briefly detained by the authorities in Singapore.
